Write for us
We welcome clear, original contributions that help readers understand the night sky or make a stargazing evening easier to plan. Send proposals through the Contact page rather than submitting a finished article without an invitation.
What we welcome
Pitch explainers, comparisons of observing approaches, skywatching habits, accessible background pieces, and thoughtfully scoped guides for an occasion or season. A strong idea has one central question and gives readers a useful way to think or act without requiring specialist credentials.
What makes a good pitch
Tell us the proposed subject, the reader it serves, the main point you would make, and why it suits Stellar Weekend Guide. Note any sources or expertise that shape the idea, and flag uncertainties or limits. We prefer a focused proposal to a broad promise to cover everything.
Before you send
Contributions must be original and written in clear English. Do not include unsupported claims, invented observations, or advice that depends on specialist or local approval. Proposals are sent through the Contact page; use the editorial question option and include your pitch in the message.
